Greetings and welcome to the Ansteorran College of Scribes.

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the College of Scribes of Ansteorra. Many long hours by the web-administrator, Lady Zubeydah Jamilla al-Badawiyya, have gone into this new design. Scribes donated many images of original artwork and articles to these pages and to the growing Artists Gallery that will bring delight to the site’s many viewers. These contributors have my many thanks for their donations.

This website will serve a number of purposes for Ansteorran scribes. Under the Education menu, Scribes can learn about the varied scribal arts. On the Administrative and FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) menus, Ansteorran scribal and heraldic standards and guidelines will explained. The Scribal History page will record our honored history in lists of those who served Ansteorra in its past, so their contributions will not be forgotten (yet to come).

In order to keep plugged into the current scribal happening in Ansteorra, check out the Scribal News menu for the latest announcements on contests, displays, meetings, classes and Sable Scroll needs. Find your local Scribes Guild by looking at the Contacts and Guilds pages; also a place to find your Regional Scribe Deputy in order to receive charter awards to paint and learn about Ansteorran Scribes.

This introduction to the new Ansteorran Scribes website is just a beginning. There are many more educational articles and handouts, gallery images and administrative how-to’s coming as this site grows to better serve the scribal needs of Ansteorra. Your suggestions for improvements and advisement on corrections are welcome, after all … this is your site.
