What's New on the Ansteorran College of Scribes & Illuminors Website?


04/20/08:
Updated the Admin page with an article on Starting and Maintaining a Scribal Guild, and updated to the Final Draft of the Scroll Texts document. Added artists information to several pieces in the Insignia pages, as well as a few new examples of Insignia, including works by Don Christoforo Antonio Passavanti. Updated information on the Contacts page. Added new original work from HL Lillias MacGuffin, Baronne Suzanne Gabrielle Marie Beraud, and Lady Ellen the Quiet. Works have been added to the Charter Library by Hedwig von Luneborg of Loch Sollier (AoA), Anne atte Rydeforde of Loch Soilleir (Court Barony, Star of Merit, Iris of Merit x2), Brian O'hUilliam of Loch Soilleir (Rising Star), Katarzyna Nikolaieva from Emerald Keep (Court Barony) and Ellen the Quiet of Bordermarch (Sable Thistle, AoA). The Scribal News Page has received a significant update as well. Added a new section: Inspirations. This page is a collection of photographs taken by Sir Cassius Leapus, O.L., of illustrations from the Guttenberg Bible, at the McFarlin Library, University of Tulsa.

10/24/07:
Updated the Scribal News page, and added a Star's Letter page with a message from our new Star Principal Herald, Alden.

10/07/07: Updated the Digital Charter Library with several works, from artists including Lady Prudence the Curious of the Shire of Emerald Keep, Lady Carletta da Nicolosi & Lady Sarah & Lord Ricciardo da Nicolosi, all of the Shire of Rosenfeld's Scribal Guild, and with many blank charters photographed by Mistress Hillary Greenslade.

10/06/07
: Updated the Artists' Gallery with works from Lady Prudence the Curious, and the teams of Lady Lillias & Mistress Gunhilda, and Lady Prudence and Lady Katarzyna Nicholaieva.

09/19/07: Update to the Charter Library, with several additions in a variety of categories.

08/12/07:
New section added -- an Insignia Gallery. This section will be similar in nature to the Charter Library - it can only grow and become a better resource with the help of Ansteorran artists. Please consider submitting your work for inclusion! Also added several new original works to the Artists Gallery, and 4 articles for the Articles library.

04/20/07:
Added information on our new Insignia Deputy to the contacts page. The Official Scroll Texts document on the Admin page has been updated to reflect the new version of this document. (Thank you to Countess Sara Penrose for her work on this project.) Updated the news page with several items of interest to the scribal community. Added several new works to the Gallery Page. Also added information on how to submit original works to the Gallery page. The FAQ and Golden Scroll info page texts have also been revised by Countess Sara Penrose. Added an article on "Illumination: Easy Tricks for Detail Work" by Lady Lillias MacGuffin

02/18/07:
Added information to Baroness Suzanne's Gallery pages. Updated the FAQ pages and the Golden Scroll pages. Fixed some broken links. (Thank you to Master Darius and Mistress Sara for pointing them out.)

02/11/07:
Updated Contacts page with corrected information on Rosenfeld's scribal guild meeting. Updated a variety of pages in the Library with corrected information on scroll artisans. Corrected names and titles on several pages in the Gallery. Added several new Gallery pages, with new materials from Lady Lillias MacGuffin, Lady Danielle de Marseilles, Baroness Oriana della Francesca and Baroness Suzanne Gabrielle Marie Beraud. Added 16 PDFs of the ADONIS newsletter to the History page. Added information on the Scribal Contest held at Coronation to the News page. Posted an updated version of the Scribal Administration article by Sara Penrose on the Administration page.

02/01/2007: LAUNCH!!
After several months of design concepts, information gathering, technical challenges, and other issues, the newly redesigned College of Scribes and Illuminor's website is finally up and running. You'll find a lot of new information here, many new items in the Artist's Gallery, and updated Links. If you have suggestions on ways to improve the site, or would like to be a contributor, please contact the web admin.
